EC Solutions (America), Inc. (NEC), an industry leader in projectors and plasma displays, will add some excitement to the 2006 International Consumer Electronic Show by giving away $10,000 in their booth, 25112 South Hall. One fortunate CES attendee will win $10,000 in a drawing on Saturday, January 7, 2006 at 5 p.m.
“We're all excited for the big crowd we are anticipating at the $10,000 drawing on Saturday,” said David Woolf, vice president of marketing, Visual Systems Division of NEC Solutions (America). “We know that CES is such an enormous show and that people can get tired and overwhelmed walking the whole show floor. We want to drive people to our booth because we know that once they're there, they will be blown away by our new projectors and plasma displays.”
Not surprisingly though, the main draw to the NEC booth at CES is the fresh, innovative projectors and plasma displays. NEC will be displaying the world's first truly automatic projectors, the LT30 and LT35. These XGA, DLP™ projectors boast a brightness up to 3000 ANSI lumens, and virtually everything on these projectors is automatic, including focus, start-up, keystone correction, AutoSense™ and cool down - all packed into a projector with a footprint smaller than a sheet of paper. NEC is also debuting five new business projectors from the popular LT and VT series, starting at $795* after rebate. The NEC LT280 and LT380 LCD projectors feature integrated wired and wireless LAN compatibility. The VT48, VT480 and VT580 LCD projectors include essential features such as high light output, quick set-up, wall color correction and keystone correction, while still being very affordably priced.
NEC will also be featuring their popular Showcase Series™ home theater plasma displays and extraordinary video processor, the NEC TheaterSync™. NEC's 42, 50 and 61inch XGA plasma displays have been completely redesigned and have added features such as day/night viewing settings, enhanced input connectivity and superior video processing. The NEC TheaterSync video processor enables a plasma or projector to achieve near high definition video quality out of non-HD sources (cable, DVD, VHS, etc).
CES attendees can enter for a chance to win $10,000 and other prizes by playing an electronic guessing game inside the NEC “AV Jones” adventure-themed booth. Nine pictures will be displayed on an NEC plasma and the contestant will touch the one image they believe the prize is hidden under. If they pick the right image, the contestant will get a coin allowing them to come back at 5 p.m. for the projector, LCD or $10,000 drawing. The LT30, the world's first automatic projector, features 2600 ANSI lumens and XGA resolution all in a 4.4 pound package, $1,795 ESP. The 23” NEC MultiSync LCD2335WXM, wide-format LCD, is great for computing or watching television and movies, $999.99 ESP. Join in the fun at NEC's booth, 25112 South Hall!
