NEC Display Solutions of America, Inc., a leading provider of commercial LCD displays and projectors, today announced the availability of the 29" EA295WMi ultrawide desktop display.

"The MultiSync EA295WMi updates the connectivity of the EA294WMi, one of our most popular ultrawide desktop displays," said Art Marshall, Senior Product Manager for Desktop Displays at NEC Display Solutions. "In addition, new features have been added to provide greater performance in a wider variety of applications."

The 29" MultiSync EA295WMi ultrawide desktop display features an IPS panel for excellent viewing angles and immersive imaging. It is also an ideal solution for users requiring multiple monitor or computer connectivity.

This EA295WMi offers full, future-proof connectivity, including ControlSync and DisplayPort 1.2 in/out for multiple monitor configurations, a fast USB 3.0 hub featuring DisplaySync ProTM for managing multiple computers, VGA and dual HDMI inputs.

Its rich feature set includes a new uniformity correction function to ensure color accuracy, lookup table for calibration, human/ambient brightness sensors, and NEC-exclusive TileMatrix and TileComp™ technologies, all designed for use in signage applications. Industry-leading service and support provides a 3-year standard warranty and available 1- and 2-year extended warranties with overnight exchange.

The EA295WMi-BK will be available in early November at a minimum advertised price of $649. It will also be available as a bundle with NEC's award-winning SpectraViewII color calibration software and sensors.
